Everything in this house has human qualities it seems - except yours truly
Woke up in a mermaid’s purse – Stockholm syndrome in reverse

We erected a statue of the two of us as centaurs at the bottom of the garden
Our bows and arrows pointing toward the belt of Orion at a certain time of year
That was the form I chose – but not the form that arose
A fanciful reflection of a dream -
In reality the animal component of the hybrid is replaced by canid
